Research into relating words to Contact Lenses.

I found this video on youtube and the video is a great way to know and learn the basics of how the human eye works and what needs to go on to make the most sense out of it all.





The human eye is very complex, which makes this a very interesting subject to want to explore, due to my eyes being bad and me having to wear Contact Lenses. After watching the video above i learn one thing which is important to the contact lens that its actually the cornea on the outside which gets damaged and then the contact lens over the top is what makes it work or not work better due to them reshaping the outside of the cornea. 

This here shows the concept of what is going on when someone places a contact lens over the eye. you are basically adding the correction device to the tear layer that covers the cornea, this then in turn corrects the eye adding the curve which has been lost the damage which has been done in the past to the cornea.



















Solution

There are so many different types of solution out there for contact lenses, these all have there separate purposes and they all have to be used with various styles of contacts themselves. The main purpose for these solutions are to leave the contacts soak overnight if you are too have the ones which you need to take out each night and leave in a solution.

There is also a lot of places which you can purchase the various solutions which are on the market but i wouldn't recommend it, after some research and asking the lady behind the counter i got this response.

"You can use other solutions for your contact lenses, but i wouldn't recommend it, as it could reduce the life on them and you could also gather an infection because they may not achieve the correct wash before you place them overnight in a clean case"

The solution that i use and also the small tubs which i place the contacts in are posted below... this is the one which i will only use as i don't want to risk anything after hearing this from the specsavers lady

I have always used the same solution due to the reason which i thought could be true but now i have heard it from the lady and i wont be mixing it up and trying to cut costs as this is rather important to me to keep my eyes in a clean and good state as they are already damaged as it is.
