What is Good? ... Summer Brief Summarised.

Definition of Good

'GOOD' depends on your perspective, ethics, creative preferences, likes and dislikes (amongst other things). It is a matter of opinion rather than a statement of fact. You need to decide what is 'good' & design something that communicates your opinion, supports your arguments or delivers your point of view.

Brief

Identify, research and present your opinions of 'what is good?'

Tasks

Select one object, one place, one activity, one opinion and one concept that you think are 'good'

use the summer to research what is good about the certain things that you have selected for what you think is 'good'. You should gather a broad range of material facts, figures, images, text and opinions that will help you understand your subject matter. You must then become an expert on your chosen subject matters.

Also prepare a three minute presentation that focuses on one of the subjects you have researched, this should summarise your findings. you should then aim to prove that you are right (or wrong) ... You should then convince your fellow students to believe the same as what you think through a range of printing formats.

Remember

Opinions mean nothing unless they can be informerd and back up with visible evidence
